To some, peace and nonviolence are synonymous with passivity and weakness. In truth, practicing peace and nonviolence is far from passive. To practice peace, to make peace alive in us, is to actively cultivate understanding, love, and compassion, even in the face of misperception and conflict. Practicing peace, especially in times of war, requires courage. Thich Nhat Hanh Practicing peace, as Thich Nhat Hanh states, is a process of understanding, love and compassion. Each session this year will focus on strengthening these aspects in the personal and global hologram. This journey can be even more meaningful through reflection on new awareness, response and action in your personal life. This can be done with The Journey to Peace Journal. On each page you can record your response to meditations that guide you through month to month with personal guided questions and reflections. Practitioners have worked several months to create this program to deepen your experience.
